Carrier Sekani Family Services’ (CSFS) Nanki Nezulne (Our Two Spirits) offers counselling to adults (18+) who self-identify as 2SLGBTQ+, as well as education, and celebration services. Nanki Nezulne (Our Two Spirits) was created with and for community members from the 11-Membered Nations that CSFS serves throughout British Columbia. Nanki Nezulne (Our Two Spirits) was developed and is operated by Indigenous, Settler, and Queer-identifying professionals who are passionate about providing 2SLGBTQ+ affirming health and wellness services to our gender, sexuality, and romantically diverse community members. Two-Eyed Seeing, Trauma-Informed practices, and Cognitive-Behavioural therapeutic approaches are guiding principles in our service delivery.

Virtual Services Include:

• Free individual counselling services (agency or self-referral accepted)
• Consultation and training services for allies and professionals
• Community engagement focused on encouraging inclusivity and
acceptance of 2SLGBTQ+ community members

Client Eligibility for Counselling Services:

• Adults (18+)
• Self-identify as 2SLGBTQ+ or individuals exploring their gender, sexuality, and/or romantic identities
• Parents of 2SLGBTQ+ youth
• Family members of 2SLGBTQ+ individuals e.g. siblings, partners, chosen family members, children etc.*
• Residents of British Columbia
• Indigenous and non-Indigenous community members*

*Family members must be (18+)
*Carrier Sekani community members and Indigenous BC residents receive first priority accessing counselling services
